Inactivate a Service

This feature allows you to prevent visitors from joining the waitlist for a specific service. When set to inactive, the service will be hidden from all customer-facing applications, and visitors will no longer be able to join its waitlist. This is particularly useful for services that are only available on specific days or during certain times of the year.

 

Note: This is a different feature compared to Service Shutdown

 

When a service line is set to inactive:

  • Visitors cannot view or join the waitlist for the service.
  • Staff cannot view the service line or add walk-ins.

 

Note: Only users with Admin or Super Admin role can inactivate/activate a service line. Unlike the Service shutdown feature, an Admin/Super Admin will need to remember to activate the service again to allow walk-ins. 

 

1. Go to Settings → Services

2. Select the service, and set its status to Inactive.

3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save changes.
