To keep your account secure and prevent future login issues, you must switch to a safer verification method. RCBC’s most secured and preferred option is the Microsoft Authenticator app.

How to Install & Set Up Microsoft Authenticator
Complete these steps using both your smartphone and a computer.
Step 1: Download the App on Your Phone
- Open the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Search for Microsoft Authenticator.
- Download and install the official, free app.
Step 2: Start Setup on Your Computer
- On a computer, go to your Microsoft Account Security page and log in with your RCBC credentials. (https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info)
- Click Add sign-in method and select Authenticator app.
- Click Next until a QR code appears on your screen. Leave this page open on your computer. You will scan the QR code with your phone in the next step.
Step 3: Pair Your Phone
- Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone and accept the privacy terms.
- Tap Add account (or the + icon in the top right) and select Work or school account.
- Select Scan QR code and point your phone camera at the QR code on your computer screen. (If prompted by your phone, allow the app permission to access your camera).
- Complete the prompt on your phone to approve the test notification.
