Create a new walk-in or appointment
Users can also add students to the Walk-ins waitlist or create an appointment for them.
To add a student as a Walk-in:
- Click Add walk-in on top of the Walk-ins waitlist.
- Select the service that needs to be provided to the student.
- Enter the student’s information.
- Click Add.
To schedule a future appointment: (not enabled)
- Click Add appointment on top of the Appointments waitlist.
- If resource selection is enabled for this service, select a resource (staff member).
- Select an appointment date and time.
- Enter the student’s information.
- Click Create.
Re-use previous visit’s information
It is possible to create a new visit as a walk-in or a future appointment at any point. This is useful for scheduling future visits with the same student or adding the student to a new line.
On the student information panel after clicking on their name, under the three dots option you can either:
- Create new walk-in from existing
- Create new appointment from existing (not enabled)
The workflow is the same as explained in the previous step, but the student’s information is remembered.
For walk-ins you can select where the student will be placed in line:
- Give credit based on wait time: the new visit will be created with the same entry time as their initial visit, giving them higher priority in the queue for the new service.
or
- Move to the end of the line: The new visit will be created with the current time, positioning them at the end of the line for the new service.
It is also possible to re-use the student’s information while ending the service. This feature can be enabled under Settings → Configuration → Second Service.
Adding Internal Comments to Visits
At any point during the process, internal comments can be added to a visit. This feature allows employees to leave important messages and notes related to the visit. These comments are only visible to employees, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the team.
