Hybrid-Flex classrooms (Tier II) make up the vast majority of our technology equipped classrooms. These rooms feature a more localized setup with all technology interfacing directly with the in-room instructor computer. The main benefit of the Hybrid-Flex setup is flexibility. The Hybrid-Flex equipment can be used with virtually any video-conferencing platform including but not limited to Webex and Google Meet. The Hybrid-Flex classroom equipment (Tier II) consists of: USB Lumens VC-B30U camera with pan, tilt, and zoom functionality. Camera is controlled via a remote kept at the front of the room. USB omnidirectional microphone placed on or near the instructor desk at the front of the room capable of picking up clear speech from around the instructor's desk. * Lumens remote to manually control the camera image or to utilize the various presets that are pre-programmed in each room.
