Forgot Password: How to reset your password using MFA

This guide is to give users a step by step guide on how to reset their password using MFA (Multi Factor Authentication).
The three types of MFA the college currently supports:

 


 

Resetting password using OneLogin Protect.

 

1. On the following screen, click on "forgot password".

 

 

2. Enter your email address in full, and then click "Continue".

 

 

3. Complete the reCAPTCHA by clicking the check box next to "I'm not a robot" and completing the prompt if applicable.

 

 

4. If you have multiple factors set up, click on "OneLogin Protect". If you do not have multiple factors set up, you may ignore this step.

 

 

5. Accept the notification on your mobile device, or enter the code from onelogin protect in order to advance past this screen.

 

 

6. Here, you are now able to create a new password and log back into your account after that.

 

 


 

Resetting password using OneLogin SMS

 

1. On the following screen, click on "forgot password".

 

 

2. Enter your email address in full, and then click "Continue".

 

 

3. Complete the reCAPTCHA by clicking the check box next to "I'm not a robot" and completing the prompt if applicable.

 

 

4. If you have multiple authentication factors set up, click on "OneLogin SMS".

 

 

5. After that, you should get a text message with a code. Enter the code into the box on this screen and click "Continue".

 

 

6. After successfully entering the code, you will get this screen and will be able to change your password.

 

 


 

Resetting password using Google Authenticator

 

1. On the following screen, click on "forgot password".

 

 

2. Enter your email address in full, and then click "Continue".

 

 

3. Complete the reCAPTCHA by clicking the check box next to "I'm not a robot" and completing the prompt if applicable.

 

 

4. If you have multiple authentication factors set up, click on "Google Authenticator" on this screen. 

 

 

5. Open the Google authenticator app on your smart device, and enter the code displayed into the following box.

 

 

6. If entered successfully, you will get the following screen and will be able to reset your password.
